Welcome to the online home of the
Celestine Volunteer Fire Department.
The Celestine Volunteer Fire Department is located in Southern Indiana and serves approximately 45 square miles of eastern Dubois County. Included in this area are portions of Marion and Hall Townships, and also a small portion of the Patoka Lake State Recreation Area in Crawford and Orange Counties. CVFD is a full volunteer fire department and offers both fire suppression and first responder services to the areas stated above with about 50 alarms in an average year.
-2014 Kenworth Ferrara Fire Apparatus Pumper
We're happy to say we've got the new truck at the station loaded with hose and ready to respond! Big shout out to Ferrara Fire Apparatus for all the help through out the entire spec and build process. The public is welcome to stop by and check the truck out on Sunday mornings while we are at the station. We want the entire community to know this is your truck just as much as the departments; given the fact that there is no way possible we would be able to purchase equipment like this if it weren’t for all your support at our fundraisers throughout the year. We are pleased to say we can provide the peace of mind that the equipment is going to operate as it should when it matters the most!
- 2014 Spring Raffle and Shooting Match
Our Annual Raffle and Shooting Match will be held April 25th at the Celestine Community Club. Raffle tickets have been mailed out and can be dropped off at the station on Sunday mornings or brought to the shoot the night of the event. See the events page for additional details.
