Celestine Volunteer Fire Department
The Celestine Volunteer Fire Department is located in Southern Indiana and serves approximately 45 square miles of eastern Dubois County. Included in this area are portions of Marion and Hall Townships, and also a small portion of the Patoka Lake State Recreation Area in Crawford and Orange Counties. CVFD is a full volunteer fire department that offers both fire suppression and first responder services to the areas stated above with an average of 80 alarms per year.

New 2018 Light Rescue now in service
We are pleased to announce that our new 2018 Chevrolet light rescue is now in service and ready to serve the residence in and around Celestine. Along with the new truck we also replaced our previous set of extrication equipment which was nearly 30 years old. A set of RESQTEC extrication tools and pump were purchased with a generous contribution from TransCanada pipeline. We would like to thank everyone who continues to support us so that we can continue to offer the most advanced life saving equipment.
2000 Chevrolet K2500 Light Rescue
We would like to thank all those who submitted bids and expressed interest in our used rescue truck. A high bid of $13,150 was received and accepted. We hope the new owner gets many years of use out of this truck.
